Inspired by Glasgow’s “Dear Green Place,” Forest reflects my daily walks along the River Kelvin and through the lush Kelvin Walkway near my home in the West End. That moment where the air changes, the world quiets, and all you hear is the rustle of leaves and the flow of water is a vital part of my creative process.

Layers of deep greens, soft golds, and earthy browns create a sense of depth—like looking through branches and catching light breaking through. Textures shift from rough, bark-like areas to soft, moss-like patches, evoking the grounding calm of wild places.

This piece is my tribute to the beauty and renewal found in Glasgow’s greenery.
