1. How do I care for my artwork?
To preserve the quality of your painting:

Keep it out of direct sunlight or humid environments.

Avoid touching the painted surface directly.

Use a soft, dry cloth to gently dust the frame and surface.

For larger works or varnished pieces, professional framing or hanging is recommended.
2. Can I commission a custom painting?
Yes, Amaal offers a limited number of commissions each year. To begin the process:

Email or use the enquiry form to share your vision, preferred colours, and any inspiration.

A non-refundable deposit is required to begin the process, with timelines typically ranging from 3–6 weeks depending on complexity and studio schedule.
3. Are paintings framed?
Unless otherwise stated, all paintings are sold unframed so you can choose framing to suit your space. However, we’re happy to offer guidance or recommend local framers.
Some small pieces may come ready to hang or mounted—details will be included in each product description.
4. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. International shipping fees will be calculated at checkout. Delivery timeframes vary by destination, but most international orders arrive within 7–14 business days.
Customs fees or duties may apply depending on your country and are the responsibility of the customer.
5. What payment methods do you accept?
We offer secure checkout options including:

6. How long does delivery take?
Once your order is placed:

Original artwork is dispatched within 3–5 working days.

Prints or homeware may take 7–10 working days depending on production time.
Tracking details will be emailed once your parcel is on the way.
7. What if my artwork arrives damaged?
All orders are packaged with care. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

Contact us within 48 hours with clear photographs of the damage.

We’ll do our best to offer a repair, refund, or replacement where possible.
8. Do you accept returns?
We accept returns on original (non-commissioned) artwork within 7 days of delivery. The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Commissions and bespoke pieces are non-refundable. See our Returns Policy for full details.
9. Can I visit your studio or view work in person?
Studio visits are by appointment only. Amaal also regularly exhibits at art fairs and events across Scotland—check Instagram or the Events page for upcoming shows.
10. Do you offer certificates of authenticity?
Yes. Every original artwork comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity verifying its originality and details.
