Welcome to my artistic world! I’m Amaal, and my art reflects a unique blend of influences from my Algerian roots and my upbringing in Scotland. My creative journey is driven by a deep passion for art, a lifelong love that has led me to fuse Scottish and North African styles into my work.

Originally from Algeria, I have drawn on the vibrant colours and textures of the Mediterranean and North Africa, blending these with contemporary abstract styles to create pieces that evoke tranquility and wonder. Growing up in Scotland, I’ve incorporated a touch of Scottish aesthetic into my artwork, which adds a distinctive flavour and depth to each piece.

My artistic journey didn’t start in a traditional art environment. I originally pursued a degree in biomedical engineering, and my career took me through marketing and sales. Despite this, my lifelong passion for art remained a constant source of inspiration and fulfilment. It was the positive response to my paintings shared on Instagram that sparked the realisation of the commercial potential of my art, leading me to establish my own art studio.

In my work, I strive to create a harmonious balance between modern sophistication and timeless cultural influences. My paintings are crafted to enhance a variety of spaces, from the serene ambiance of a private home to the dynamic atmosphere of restaurants and boutique hotels.
